•4th email: when purchase order is completed.

The prices displayed for unit trust funds are indicative prices, which is usually dated two working days ago. As the name goes, indicative price is NOT the actual transaction price of the fund that you are buying.

Most of the funds on FSMOne are priced based on Forward Pricing method. If we receive your payment before the cutoff time on a business day, your units will be priced as of the closing price of the market on that day itself. For payments received after the cutoff time or on a non-business day, your units will be priced based on the next business day.

Given that the fund management companies require time to consolidate, calculate and verify unit prices with independent trustees, you will only know the exact unit price two working days later. You will receive an email from us once your units have been priced.

Generally, the cash buy order will complete in T+3 business day from your transaction day (T date).

The transaction cycle for EPF Account 1 usually takes longer time to process compared to that of cash investments. While we may have received and submitted your documents, the orders will remain in processing status until the confirmation of successful EPF Account 1 withdrawal.

Once a transaction cycle is completed, your units will appear under your holdings.

a) FSMOne’s Fee

i.) Sales Charge
All equity fund sales charge for cash investment are charge at 1.5%. From time to time, our investors enjoy promotional sales charge. The sales charge is applied when you purchase a fund.

ii) Platform Fees (0.05% per quarter)
The platform fee is only applicable to bond funds purchased using cash. It does not apply to bond funds purchased using EPF monies and PRS funds. It will be calculated on a daily average market value of bond funds and deducted on a quarterly basis.

b) Fund Manager's Fees

The Fund Manager's Fees will be the annual expense of the fund includes annual management fee, trustee fee and other administrative and marketing expenses.

However, you do not have to fork out additional money to pay for the funds’ annual expenses to the fund manager. The expenses have already been accounted for on a pro-rated basis before the fund price (Net Asset Value) is published daily.

Yes, you can make a payment from a joint bank account.

However, we will only accept joint bank accounts where the relationship between the primary and secondary account holders is a Spouse, Parent, or Child. All other relationship types will not be permitted.

FSMOne Credit System allows our investors to perform fund switching on credits without being charged the tier charge.

Generally, a normal Intra Switch between different tiers of funds (e.g. a bond fund to an equity fund) will be charged at its tier difference. With the credit system, you are able to utilize your available credits to waive off the tier charge.

No application is required. You will earn credit points during your switching transaction and utilise the accumulated points at a later time.

No, the FSMOne Credit System is applicable to Intra Switch transactions only (e.g. switching of funds between same fund management company).

You will accumulate credits when you perform Intra Switch from an equity fund (1.5% sales charge) to another lower tier fund (0% to 1.5% sales charge). There will be no credits for switching between different fund houses (Inter Switch) or Intra Switch between funds of same tier.

If you have available credits, you may use them during the Intra Switch transaction process.

Credits will be deducted or added on the transaction date. Credit usage detail will be displayed in your switching order confirmation email.

There is 0.00% sales charge imposed for CMF purchases.

Investors will have to pay for fund expense ratio of not more than 0.40% per annum, which is inclusive of the annual management fee. However, you are not required to fork out additional money to pay for the expense ratio. The CMF’s Net Asset Value (NAV) is already net of the expense ratio.

The ‘net interest rate' is derived from the underlying deposits in which the fund invests, after deducting an expense ratio of not more than 0.40% per annum. This will be reflected in the changes in the fund's daily unit price or net asset value.

The daily unit price of the fund will vary with the interest rates offered by the various underlying bank deposits in which the fund invests.

The minimum initial investment amount is: MYR 100.00

The money invested into CMF is deposited with several banks’ deposits issued by financial institutions in Malaysia.

These deposits have a remaining maturity period of not more than 365 days.

For FPX E-mandate, we will deduct MYR 1.00 from your bank account upon successful application, amendments and termination. However, the amount will be refunded to your bank account in 7 business days.

No, the RSP application process is fully online and paperless. Upon bank approval, the RSP will commence and a confirmation email will be sent to you to inform of the first contribution date.

You can start your RSP from as low as RM100 per month for most of the funds without need to fulfil the minimum initial investment amount EXCEPT for funds not under RSP Special List. The funds not under RSP Special List will require to invest the minimum initial investment amount first before starting the RSP.

This is the date on which the investors will be entitled to a recently announced income distribution if he or she still holds the fund.

You can now choose how each fund handles its income distribution, on eligible funds:

• Reinvest (the default): the income distribution buys more units of the fund.

• Pay into Cash Account: the income distribution is credited to your Cash Account as cash.

The fund’s NAV drops by the distribution amount and a distribution icon appears beside the fund name in your Holdings. 

What happens next to your holdings depends on your income distribution payout option:

Reinvest

• The income distribution buys more units of the fund.

• Your fund’s P/L may dip temporarily until the units are credited, then it normalises.

• Once the additional units are credited, the impact of the distribution will be reflected in your holdings accordingly.

Pay into Cash Account

• The income distribution is credited to your Cash Account instead.

• Your unit count stays the same, and your P/L may stay lower.

• This is because part of the fund’s value has been paid out to you as cash.

You will receive an email statement once it is done.

Yes, if the fund offers both cash payout and reinvestment, you can choose. If it offers only one, the income distribution follows that method. 

No. The cash payout option is for cash investments only. Income distribution from EPF i-Invest and PRS holdings continues to be reinvested.

Open the Fund Selector and select the Cash Payout filter to Yes. 

As new funds may be added from time to time, the Fund Selector always provides the most up-to-date list of funds that offer cash payouts.

The i-invest tab on the EPF i-Akuan is an online, self-service function to facilitate investments through MIS (Member Investment Scheme) in approved unit trust funds. To be eligible to invest via i-Akaun, member need to meet the basic savings requirement in the EPF account 1.

Step 1: Visit to the nearest EPF office or Kiosk to register the temporary User ID & Password. The password will be sent via SMS to your registered mobile number.
Step 2: Login to www.kwsp.com.my and click on “Member Login” section to insert temporary User ID & Password. You are required to complete the activation within 30 calendar days of receiving the SMS.

Step 3: Upon successful login, you will need to create a new user ID (optional), Password, chose a security Image and Secret phrase.

Step 4: Once you have activated your i-Akaun, a notification will be prompted on your screen.

Step 5: Thereafter, please use your new created Login ID (if any) and Password to access your i-Akaun.

Yes, you will need to have an investment account if you wish to place the EPF purchase order in our platform. If you do not have an account, system will redirect you to register a new investment account. Once you complete the account opening, you may continue with the EPF transaction.

The platform fee is applicable to units of bond funds purchased, switched-buy, transferred-in after 3.00pm, 20-Sep-2013.

The deduction date of the bond fund platform fee is on the 25th of January, April, July and October for the respective quarters as shown in the table below.

PRS is an investment scheme that facilitates the accumulation of retirement savings through voluntary contributions. The PRS is designed to complement the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) and is regulated by Securities Commission Malaysia (SC). For more information, please click here.

Malaysians and foreigners who are 18 years old and above are eligible to contribute to the PRS.

To purchase PRS fund with us, you will need to open a Personal Account (if you do not have an account).

PPA will incur a PPA account opening fees of RM10, however, the charges has been waived by PPA until further notice.

Nevertheless, there will be an annual fee of MYR 8.00 will be deducted from your investment amount for any subsequent contributions on the next calendar year per fund house.

A year after registering a PPA account with the PRS investment with PRS Provider A holding. An investor contributes MYR 1,000 to PRS Provider A and PRS Provider B respectively.

The investors will be paying MYR 8.00 only for PRS Provider A as PRS Provider B is a first time purchase. 

No. PRS is only applicable to Personal Account only.

Switching is a Sell and a Buy transaction. In some cases, investors may like to use one fund to purchase another fund. By doing a switch, you do not need to wait till you receive your proceeds to process the buy order. The process is faster compared to normal sell and buy transactions.

Please take note that the fees incurred for Intra fund house switches may be lower as compared to Inter fund house.

Currently there are 2 types of switching i.e. Intra Switch and Inter Switch.

Intra Switch involves switching between funds under the same fund management company; whereas Inter Switch involves switching between funds between two or different fund management companies.

Intra Switch is applicable to both cash investments and EPF investment. Inter Switch is only applicable to cash investments only.

The minimum initial investment amount will apply if you are switching into a fund that you do not own. If you already have units of the fund that you are switching to, the minimum subsequent investment amount will apply.

As the switch buy order will be transacted after the switch sell order, you need to ensure that the redemption amount from the switch sell, based on the latest indicative NAV price, is at least 105% of the minimum initial or subsequent investment amount of the fund you are switching into. This is to ensure there is a buffer to the minimum initial or subsequent investment amount. Our system will prompt you if the amount is insufficient.

Example:

An investor wants to switch-sell of Fund A and switch-buy into Fund B, and Fund B has an initial investment amount of MYR 1,000.00. He or she needs to ensure that the number of units sold out from Fund A sums up to at least MYR 1,050.00 worth of proceeds.

Yes, investors are allowed to switch freely between conventional funds and Shariah funds on FSMOne.

Except for Amanah Mutual Berhad, an investor is not allowed to switch sell the distributed units of his or her conventional funds into Shariah compliant funds managed under Amanah Mutual Berhad. However, the principal amount of conventional funds is allowed to be switched into Shariah funds.

It depends on whether the switch is within the same fund house (an intra-switch) or between different fund houses (an inter-switch).

Inter-switch (between different fund houses): 

• No matching restriction, but it depends on whether you already hold the switch-buy fund.

• If you do not hold it: you choose the option, like a fresh buy (limited only by what the fund supports).

• If you already hold it: the switch-buy follows that holding's existing option.

Intra-switch (within the same fund house): 

• The income distribution payout option must match, as below:

If you not holding the switch-buy fund

The new holding takes your switch-sell option, so the fund must be able to support it.

If you already hold the switch-buy fund

It keeps the option already set on it, so your switch-sell option must match.

The relevant charges and lag time will be shown in your order cart just before you proceed to checkout.

Transfer-in is a process of consolidating your fund holdings from another distributor and/or financial institution on FSMOne. The process is completely free of charge.

For internal transfer, it is expected to be completed within 7 business days. The fund holdings shall be reflected in your investment account thereafter.

For external transfer, it is expected to be completed within 2 months.

Kindly ensure that you have submitted a complete set of documents.

No. You are not allowed to perform switches or redemptions on the involved holdings before the completion of the transfer-in process.

You are advised to terminate your existing monthly savings plan with the previous distributor to avoid having any residual holdings.

Once your transfer-in process is completed, you may apply a new Regular Savings Plan (RSP).

Yes, you can transfer out your fund(s) to another platform by reaching out your new platform on the transfer process. We shall process accordingly upon receive the instruction from your new platform.

Yes, you can void:

a) Pending cash investment purchase order(s) before payment is made; and

b) Pending EPF Account 1 investment order(s), before submission of relevant documents.

You may void the pending order(s) by logging into your investment account and click on Transaction Record >> Pending Transaction >> Detail >> Void.

Transacted orders are irrevocable.

Yes, you can send your void order(s) request to clienthelp.my@fundsupermart.com before daily transaction cut off time of 3.00pm.

You are advised to send your void order request by or before 2.30pm as we will need to manually void the order.

The cooling-off rights gives investors an opportunity to revoke an investment decision within 6 business days from the transaction date which may have been unduly influenced by certain external elements or factors. It refers to your rights as an investor to obtain a refund of your investment if you do request within the cooling-off period.

The request to exercise the cooling-off rights made before 3.00pm on any business day will be processed on the same business day. Any request made after 3.00pm or on non-business day will be processed on the next business day.

All new investor will eligible for cooling-off rights. The request is only applicable once for investor (based on NRIC) who is investing for the first time in unit trust with FSMOne. For EPF investment, cooling off rights will subject to the respective fund house discretion.

However, the following person/or institution are not entitled to exercise of cooling-off rights:

i. A staff employed by Fund Management Company; and

ii. A person registered with a body approved by the Securities Commission to deal in unit trusts.

Unit Trust Fund

You may exercise cooling off by logging into your investment account and click on Transaction Record >> Pending / Historical Transaction >> Detail >> Exercise Colling Off within 6 business days from your transaction date. The “Exercise Cooling-Off” tab will appear on the page if you are eligible for cooling-off rights.

For ASEAN CIS Passport funds, any sales charge paid will be refunded to you however the cancellation proceeds payable to the cancellation will be determined as the lower market value or your original subscription amount. In another words, the refund amount maybe lesser than your subscription amount if the NAV of the fund drop below your purchase price.

We shall contact you should we require any additional documents from you or if the cooling-off request cannot be processed.

Yes, you can exercise your cooling-off rights for your entire purchases under the same purchase order number or any of the transaction at your choice.

An e-Invoice is a digital representation of a transaction between a platform (FSMOne) and Investor (Client). FSMOne will implement the e-Invoice effective from 1 July 2025.

A Sales and Service Tax Number (SST) is a unique identification number assigned to a company or individual that is registered with the Royal Malaysian Customs Department (RMCD).

A Tax Identification Number (TIN), also known as an Income Tax Number is a unique identification number that is assigned to individuals and business entities that are registered taxpayers with IRBM.

No, it is not mandatory to update TIN and SST to opt in for e-Invoice.

You are not required to provide this information if you do not need a copy of the e-Invoice.

You can opt in for e-Invoice by logging to the website and click on Personal Tab >> Account Update >> refer to “Personal Information” column.

Sales and Service Tax (SST) consists of sales tax and service tax.

In compliance with the latest regulation issued by the Royal Malaysian Customs Department, an 8% Sales and Service Tax (SST) on financial services will be effective from 1 October 2025.

As a licensed investment platform, FSMOne Malaysia is required to impose service tax on applicable services in accordance with the prevailing tax regulations.

The 8% Sales and Service Tax (SST) will be effective 1 October 2025.

The SST will be applied to transaction fees (where applicable) for transactions made on or after this date.
