An e-Invoice is a digital representation of a transaction between a platform (FSMOne) and Investor (Client). FSMOne will implement the e-Invoice effective from 1 July 2025.

A Sales and Service Tax Number (SST) is a unique identification number assigned to a company or individual that is registered with the Royal Malaysian Customs Department (RMCD).

A Tax Identification Number (TIN), also known as an Income Tax Number is a unique identification number that is assigned to individuals and business entities that are registered taxpayers with IRBM.

No, it is not mandatory to update TIN and SST to opt in for e-Invoice.

You are not required to provide this information if you do not need a copy of the e-Invoice.

You can opt in for e-Invoice by logging to the website and click on Personal Tab >> Account Update >> refer to “Personal Information” column.

For mobile app, please logging and click on Menu >> Personal Information >>Personal Account Information.

No, only the main account holder can opt in for e-Invoice.

You can login into Lembaga Hasil Dalan Negeri portal (LHDN) to retrieve the information or contact LHDN at 03-8911 1000 for assistance. 

You may view your transaction’s e-Invoice by clicking “Transaction Record” >> Historical Transaction.

You will see a “Details” button for the respective transaction. Once you click “Details” button, the e-Invoice will be displayed on the page.

Once you opted in to e-Invoice, the e-Invoice will issue to you starting from the date you opt in.

For example:

Scenario 1
You opt in to e-Invoice on 1 July 2025, if you place any order on 1 July 2025, e-Invoice will be available to you.

Scenario 2
If you opt in to e-Invoice on 15 December 2025, the e-Invoice will be available starting from that date. Transactions made prior to the opt-in date will not be issued an e-Invoice.

Please note that the e-Invoice will made available within 1-2 business days upon completion of your transaction.

Individual client’s TIN will start with prefix of “IG” while corporate client’s TIN with prefix based on type of company category. You may refer to the example below:

Yes, you may download the e-Invoice and print a copy for your own reference.

The e-Invoice will available under your historical transaction.

You may download a copy of the e-Invoice by clicking “Transaction Record” >> Historical Transaction. You will see a “Details” button for the respective transaction.  

You may click the respective transaction record to download the e-Invoice.

No, we will not send an email notification regarding the e-Invoice.

Your previous e-Invoice(s) will still be available; however, any transactions starting from the opt-out date will no longer be available to you.

For example:

You opted in to e-Invoice on 1 July 2025 and opted out on 1 December 2025.

Any transactions made between 1 July 2025 and 30 November 2025 will be eligible for e-Invoice. Transactions made on or after 1 December 2025 will not be issued an e-Invoice.

We will only issue an e-Invoice if the transaction incurs a sales charge, processing fee, or other fees. You may cross-check your transaction to verify if any charges have been incurred.

Meantime, you may cross check your e-Invoice opt in status details by logging to the website and click on Personal Tab >> Account Update >> refer to “Personal Information” column.

No, we are not able to issue e-Invoices for past transactions completed prior to your opt in for e-Invoice.

A QR code will be generated after IRBM verification, you may use the code to validate the e-invoice online.

You will need to login to LHDN and click on "My Invois" tab to register for the service.

Yes, you can reject the e-invoice within 72 hours (calendar day) of receiving it. After 72 hours, you will no longer be able to reject the e-invoice.

You may reject the e-Invoice through IRBM portal or notify us via the following channels.

We will review the e-invoice and reissue a new one if we find any discrepancies.
