The fund’s NAV drops by the distribution amount and a distribution icon appears beside the fund name in your Holdings.
What happens next to your holdings depends on your income distribution payout option:
Reinvest
The income distribution buys more units of the fund.
Your fund’s P/L may dip temporarily until the units are credited, then it normalises.
Once the additional units are credited, the impact of the distribution will be reflected in your holdings accordingly.
Pay into Cash Account
The income distribution is credited to your Cash Account instead.
Your unit count stays the same, and your P/L may stay lower.
This is because part of the fund’s value has been paid out to you as cash.
You will receive an email statement once it is done.
