IPO shares are shares of companies that newly listed on a stock exchange. They are offered to the public for the first time through an Initial Public Offering (IPO), allowing companies to raise funds for growth and development.

We are offering IPO subscription for Bursa exchange only.

You are required to open for Individual CDS account for IPO subscriptions. The account opening will be prompted after clicking the subscribe button in the IPO Center. 

Generally, the account applications received by 12:00 PM on a business day will be activated on the same day, while applications received after 12:00 PM will be activated on the next business day.

Login to FSMOne > Trade > Stocks / ETFs  where you can view Prices, Order Book, Portfolio and insert the stock name or code in the search box.

c) Stock Screener

At FSMOne website, under Research & Tools > Stock Screener, you can search for a Stocks by selecting your required criteria in the different fields.

At FSMOne website, under Research & Tools > ETF Selector, you can search for a ETFs by selecting your required criteria in the different fields.

a) LIVE TRADING page (post login)

• In Live Trading page, you can find Quick Trade, Prices, Order Book and Portfolio.

• Insert Stock name or code in the Search Box of Quick Trade; alternatively, you may filter stocks based on Most Active, Top Gainers, Top Losers or from your watchlist.

• Select a stock and click on the green Buy button and the Order Pad will be displayed.

• Alternatively, you can click on Quick Trade then insert in the name of the counter your wish to transact in the search box.

• Key in your order quantity in correct board lot sizes and your limit price.

• The estimated total investment consideration calculated based on your price and quantity, including all transaction fees, charges and taxes, will be displayed in the Total Consideration box.

• Check the Total Consideration against your Purchasing Power for Stocks and ETFs, depending on the security type that you are purchasing, to ensure that you have sufficient balance in your cash account before submitting your order. If there is insufficient balance in your cash account, your order will not be processed.

• Click Preview Order and key in your password for verification to confirm your order details.

• Click CONFIRM to send your order for processing.

b) From Stock Factsheet page

• Click on the blue 'Transact' button and you can place orders following the steps outlined in a) above.

Please ensure you have logged into your account before proceeding with the following steps:

From "Stocks & ETFs" > Watchlist

• Choose “Stocks & ETFs' then click the 'Create New Watchlist” button to create your watchlists.

• Create a watchlist name.

• Click on <+ Add Stocks & ETFs> blue button to add your desired counters.

• To delete a selected counter, just click the red delete button.

• Choose 'Watchlist & Alert” to create your watchlists.

• Create a watchlist name.

• Click on <+ Add New Product> blue button to find and add your desired counters.

• To delete a selected counter, just click the blue delete button.

From "Live Trading" page

• You can add any of the counters displayed on this page to your watchlist by clicking on "Add to Watchlist” in the More Actions tab. • Create a watchlist name and add the selected counter to this watchlist. • Alternatively, you can create a new or edit an existing watchlist by clicking on the drop-down menu in the Top Counters.

From Stock Factsheet

• You can add the particular stock to your watchlist by clicking on the "Add to Watchlist” button.

• You can create up to 10 watchlists and add a maximum of 50 counters to each watchlist.

There is no minimum investment amount for the purchase of Stocks / ETFs as the investment amount is dependent on the transacted price and quantity of the Stocks / ETFs you are buying. However, do note that there is a minimum board lot size for Stocks / ETFs.

Yes, you must have sufficient cash balance available in your cash account before transacting in stocks. Otherwise, your order will not be processed. You may use the Stock / ETF Calculator to help you calculate the estimated amount required for your Stocks / ETFs transaction before putting through your order.

You can also check your estimated amount for the transaction against the Purchasing Power indicated in the Order Pad to ensure that you have sufficient funds for transaction.

You can refer to our Stocks Calculator for an estimate of how much you will need to pay for your Stocks / ETFs transactions. However, do note that the actual investment amount will depend on the final transacted price of your order.

Go to Trade > Stocks & ETFs and you will find Prices, Order Book and Portfolio.

• Key in Stock name or code and click on it.

• Click on the red Sell button and the Order Pad will be displayed.

• Alternatively, you can go to Portfolio then choose “Sell” under “Actions” the Order Pad will be displayed.

• Key in your order quantity in correct board lot sizes and your limit price.

You can sell up to the maximum number of shares or ETFs in your FSMOne Investment Account holdings and short selling is not permitted.

Yes, you can sell the Stocks / ETFs before their settlement day as long as you have sufficient quantities in the “Balance Quantity” column in your Portfolio except for China A-Shares.

For trading of China A-Shares, no intra-day trading is allowed. You can only submit the sell order T+1 onwards after you have successfully filled the buy order.

No. Stocks bought through FSMOne can only be sold through FSMOne as your securities holdings are held on your behalf by iFAST or its appointed Custodian, hence these securities are not registered under your name.

If you wish to sell through another stockbroker, you will need to transfer your securities holdings to the CDS account of your designated stockbroker first. Please note that there will be transfer fees involved. 

You will receive your payment for Stocks/ETFs sell order in your respective currency cash account with the processing time as below:

Despite the redemption will take few days to process, the stocks redemption amount will available immediately as your purchasing power once you have redeemed your Stocks/ETFs successfully. This is to allows you able to immediately utilize the monies to purchase a new Stocks or ETFs on to the respective exchange.

You can view the purchasing power and unsettle trade by click on Trade >> Stock & ETFs >> PP Breakdown.

No, we are unable to sell off your stock holdings to pay off other fees or charges. These fees, where applicable, will be deducted from your cash account, cash fund or unit trusts holdings within the FSMOne Account.

BURSA: Orders can be entered from 8.30pm onwards. [not available from 5.00pm to 8.30pm, Malaysia time].

SGX: Orders can be entered from 8.30pm onwards. [not available from 5.16pm to 8.30pm, Malaysia time].

HKEX: Orders can be entered from 8.30pm onwards. [not available from 4.00pm to 8.30pm, Malaysia time].

China A-Share (SSE and SZSE) : Orders can be entered from 8.30pm onwards. [not available from 3.00pm to 8.30pm, Malaysia time].

US (NASDAQ, NYSE, AMEX and BATS) : Orders can be entered from 4.00pm onwards. [not available from 4.00am to 4.00pm, Malaysia time].

LSE: Orders can be entered from 12.00pm onwards. [not available from 12.30am to 12.00pm, Malaysia time].

You can place your orders during non-trading hours, including weekends and holidays for BURSA, SGX, HKEX, China A-Share, US and London exchanges.

However, please be reminded that an order will be routed to the market immediately when the exchange opens if it is placed during non-trading hours. You are advised to monitor Corporate Actions for your orders (e.g. Capital Reduction, Capital Restructuring, Right Issue, Stock Split, etc.), to cancel and amend if required as Corporate Actions normally involve change of price and quantity.

Yes, you may amend or cancel your stock or ETF order in your order book during trading hours, as long as the order has not been filled. 

To amend your  orders:

Go to Stocks & ETFs > Order Book → Select the order you want to amend → click on the green Modify button.

You can increase or decrease the price of your limit order. However, you can only decrease the quantity of your order but not increase the quantity. After filling in your new order details, key in your password for verification to proceed.

Please note that amendments of orders are not allowed for China A-Shares trading. You can only cancel and place a new order.

To cancel your orders:

Go to Stocks & ETFs > Order Book and click on the vertical ellipsis icon on the right side of trade that you wish to cancel and select “Cancel”.

Please note that the priority of your order will be forgone if you amend your price.

No, you may not amend or cancel orders in your order book during non-trading hours.

Yes, it will affect your purchasing power for all existing orders queuing in the exchange, your purchasing power will only be released and updated after the exchange is open, and when they have accepted your order placement.

Do note the following:

• A new amendment order cannot be entered if the previous amendment order for the same stock has not been processed. Once a cancellation order is successful, cancellation cannot be reversed.

• Acceptance of any amendments is subjected to stock exchange.

• For amendment or cancellation of existing BUY orders queuing with the exchange, your purchasing power will only be released and updated after the exchange is open, and when they have accepted your order request.

You can go to Stocks & ETFs > Order Book to view your order status. Order Status can be found in your Order book (Today Orders). For orders transacted on previous days, you may refer to Stocks & ETFs > Order Book > Historical Transaction.

Orders may be rejected due to many reasons and the common ones are listed here:

• For BURSA order, price is out of spread due to dynamic or static price limit

• For BURSA, orders entered during Trading at Last phase where the price does not equal to the theoretical closing price

• For US order, if the limit price is ~30% away from prevailing market price or bigger than our counterparty's set thresholds, it may be rejected or stopped for review

• Insufficient purchasing power

• The security you have selected has been suspended, or delisted and etc..

No. Strictly no third-party payment based on the regulations for stocks related payments. If any third-party payment is detected during the validation process of payment, stocks placement will be pending match and refund process will be making to the payer accordingly.

Your Purchasing Power includes the existing cash balance and sale proceeds from securities transactions that have not been settled into your cash account, after deducting from buy outstanding payment. You will be able to use your entire Purchasing Power to make new BUY transactions immediately.

Generally, there is 2 types of divided payout as below:

Cash Dividend
The cash dividend is paid out based on the default declared currency only. Optional currencies are not available on our platform. The cash proceeds will be credited into your respective currency cash account, after payment date or upon confirmation of receipt of payment (whichever is later)

Scrip dividends

The shares will be credited into your holdings and reflected in your account after the stipulated date. As such, you can only sell these shares after they have been credited into your account.

Bursa Malaysia-listed Stocks/ETFs:

• Dividends will be credited on the dividend payout date in MYR Cash Account. 

Foreign-listed Stocks/ETFs (US, SGX, HKEX, LSE and China A-Shares):

• Dividends will be credited within 2 business days from the dividend payout date to the Cash Account corresponding to the Stocks/ETFs trading currency.

The MYR Cash Account and MYR Auto-Sweep allows payments for all US, HK and London-listed ETFs, while the USD Auto-Sweep account is specifically for USD-denominated ETFs listed in the US, HK and London-listed ETFs.

Notes: 

• We will perform FX conversion on behalf of clients if you have selected cross-currency payment for your ETFs RSP. For example, if you selected a MYR cash account to invest in USD-denominated ETFs, the MYR will be converted to USD for order placement.
