Trade amalgamation allows you to combine your orders to help you save on processing fees and reduce the average traded price done for the trading day and is automatically performed on FSMOne for each buy or sell order if all following conditions are fulfilled:

1. Trades must be of the same Stock or ETFs name/symbol, with the same settlement currency.
2. Trades must be on the same side (e.g. Buy trades can only be amalgamated with another Buy trade).
3. Trades must be filled on the same trading day.

Please note that trade amalgamation is only done at the end of the day so for each trade confirmation received during the day, the total consideration will not reflect the discounted processing fee. The excess processing fee that was earmarked during the trading day will be refunded into your cash account at the end of the day.

There is NO trade amalgamation for US and London exchanges.

All stock trading is conducted on a cash upfront basis, and you are required to pre-fund your cash solution before you can start trading with us.

Yes. The FSMOne Investment Account is a cash upfront account where your trading limit is equivalent to the amount of money deposited into your cash account(s) in the respective currencies. Please ensure that you have sufficient money in your respective currency cash account(s) before placing trades into Stocks and ETFs.

No, we regret that we do not offer margin facilities for Stocks/ETFs trading. All Stocks/ETFs trades are on a cash upfront basis only.

There will be no charges apply for the CDS account application.

Your Stocks and ETFs holdings are held under a custody account with iFAST CAPITAL SDN BHD (“iFAST Capital”). iFAST Capital is a Participating Organisation with Bursa Malaysia Berhad, which is also a Trading Participant, a Clearing Participant and Authorised Depository Agent (ADA). iFAST Capital is licensed by the Securities Commission and regulated by Bursa Malaysia Berhad. For Bursa-listed securities, iFAST Capital maintains a CDS account with ADA on behalf of each client, even though the listed securities are held with iFAST Capital.

The CDS Account Structure maintained with FSMOne is under Nominee.

The difference between Nominees and Direct CDS account are the investment under Nominees is registered under broker's name (FSMOne) bought on behalf of you while Direct is the investment will be purchased directly under your own name.

CDS account number is a 9-digit number and can be found at the top left panel in the Live Trading page.

We will activate your CDS account within the same day from the time of receiving your application online.
An email will send to notify you once the CDS account has been approved.

*Any CDS application during non-business days and public holiday will process on the next business day.

Yes, we will send a reminder email one month before your CDS account turns dormant or inactive status.

Your stocks and ETFs will remain in the account. To reactivate your CDS account, log into your investment account to review the information and confirm the reactivation by acknowledging it.

Rest assured that the CDS dormant account status will only affect trading on the Bursa Malaysia exchange and will not impact trading on other exchanges.

There will be no impact on trading on other exchanges or on other investment products on our platform. Your existing investment holdings will remain in your account.

Yes, you can leave the CDS account in a dormant status and reactivate it only when you plan to invest in the Bursa Malaysia Exchange. There will be no impact on trading on other exchanges.

Kindly note that a dormant CDS account will be closed after 3 years of dormant status.

We regret to inform you that Singapore citizens, Singapore permanent residents, and entities incorporated in Singapore are not allowed to trade or transfer in any stocks and ETFs listed on SGX in FSMOne Malaysia.

Yes, Non-US persons are eligible to trade in the securities listed in the US markets.

To trade in US stocks, besides acknowledging the Risk Disclosure Statement (RDS) relating to Securities and Risk Warning Statement (RWS) for transacting in Overseas-Listed Products, you are required to complete the W-8BEN declaration form to declare your Non-US tax status.

You may submit/update your W-8BEN declaration form to declare your Non-US tax status here. 

This electronic method is the fastest and easiest way to declare your W8. You will also be able to check your expiry date for W8 or use this page to redeclare when it expires. Currently, all W-8BEN forms will be subject to review and approval by iFAST.

W-8BEN form is an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) form that certifies the Foreign Status of Beneficial Owner for United States Tax Withholding and Reporting. Submission of this form is compulsory if you intend to invest in US securities.

Please note that the W8 form cannot be used by certain persons as prescribed in the form and is generally applicable only if you are an individual and a non-US tax resident. This should not be construed as tax advice and we recommend you to consult a professional tax adviser for tax-related questions.

If a change in circumstances makes any information on the W-8 form incorrect, you must re-submit the appropriate form within 30 days of the change in circumstances.

The Domestic Ringgit Borrowings refer to any ringgit advances, loans, trade financing facilities, hire purchase, factoring facilities with recourse, financial leasing facilities, guarantee for payment of goods, redeemable preference shares or similar facilities in whatever name or form, except:

• Trade credit terms extended by suppliers for all types of goods and services;

• Forward foreign exchange contracts entered into with licensed onshore banks;

• Performance guarantees and financial guarantees;

• One personal housing loan and one vehicle loan obtained from residents;

• Credit card and charge card facilities;

• Operational leasing facilities;

• Factoring facilities without recourse; and

• Inter-company borrowings within a corporate group in Malaysia
