You can do so by following these steps below:

1. Login to your account, go to RSP > Apply New RSP
2. Select the ETF(s) that you wish to apply for RSP. You can select multiple ETF(s) should you wish to apply for more than one RSP.
3. Key in the RSP Amount and select the RSP frequency.
4. Ensure that there are sufficient monies in the MYR Cash Account 1 day before the RSP transaction date.

No, there is no limit on the number of ETFs you can apply for RSP. You can apply as many ETFs RSP as you wish.

The minimum investment is RM100 or USD 50, depending on the selected payment method and ETF currency.

MYR Cash Account – Min. MYR 100.00

MYR Auto-Sweep – Min. MYR 100.00

USD Auto-Sweep – Min. USD 50.00 (Only applicable to the USD denominated ETF in the RSP list.)

Payments can be made using either a MYR Cash Account, MYR Auto-Sweep or a USD Auto-Sweep account. 

The MYR Cash Account and MYR Auto-Sweep allows payments for all US, HK and London-listed ETFs, while the USD Auto-Sweep account is specifically for USD-denominated ETFs listed in the US, HK and London-listed ETFs.

Notes: 

• We will perform FX conversion on behalf of clients if you have selected cross-currency payment for your ETFs RSP. For example, if you selected a MYR cash account to invest in USD-denominated ETFs, the MYR will be converted to USD for order placement. 
• The payment deduction will only be processed from your selected payment method, and the RSP will not be processed if the balance in your selected payment method is insufficient.

The ETF RSP investment date will be determined based on the selected investment frequency i.e. 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd.

The investment dates are as follows:

*ETFs RSP is only applicable to USEX, HKEX and LSE.

The investment frequency is available up to a maximum of 4 times per month e.g. 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd.

The ETF RSP will process on T+1 business day i.e. 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd.

MYR Cash Account:
Deductions from your MYR cash account will occur on your selected investment dates—1st, 8th, 15th, or 22nd of each month. Please ensure your account has sufficient funds at least one day before the transaction date to avoid an unsuccessful deduction.

MYR / USD Auto-Sweep:
Similarly, deductions for the MYR/ USD Auto-Sweep will take place on your chosen investment dates—1st, 8th, 15th, or 22nd. 

However, if these dates fall on a weekend, non-business day, or public holiday in Malaysia, the U.S., or Singapore, the deduction will occur on the preceding business day (T-1).

As odd/fractional shares will be allocated after each RSP is processed, your RSP investment amount may or may not be 100% utilized. The extra amount will be refunded to your respective currency cash account, and you can refer to your final investment amount in the transaction record.

For USEX RSP with opt in USD Auto-Sweep, the extra amount will be automatically swept from your USD Cash Account to your USD Auto-Sweep account on the next business day.

You will be informed through email of the trade details and status.

You can also view your RSP investments by going to My Account > Transaction Record on the next business day after the trade is being executed.

Alternatively, you may view your Holdings by going to Trade > Stocks & ETFs > Portfolio.

There is no minimum participation nor lock-in period for ETFs RSP.

At any time, you may submit a termination request by going to My Account > RSP. Click on 'Go To' button to terminate your RSP. There is no cancellation fee.

Upon online termination submission, the request will be effective immediately.

You may change your RSP investment amount and RSP frequency by going to My Account > RSP and click 'Go To' to edit the RSP investment amount and RSP frequency.

Upon online edit submission, the request will be effective immediately.

Your ETFs RSP will not be processed if there is insufficient fund in your MYR Cash Account. The RSP will remain active until you terminate your ETFs RSP application.

You may sell the odd lot and/or fractional shares acquired through RSP via “Scheduled Sell Order”.

You may place a scheduled sell order by logging to your investment account and click on Holding >>ETFs >> select "Sell" under Action tab column. On the next page, kindly select “Scheduled To Sell” as order type to place the scheduled sell order.

You will receive the ETFs RSP sales proceeds in your selected redemption method such as US Auto-Sweep or respective currency cash account. 

For “Scheduled Sell Order”, you are required to submit your order before the cut off time as below for respective exchange. 

Should the sale proceeds of your fractional units be less than the processing fees, you will be billed for the amount owing to us from your respective currency cash accounts.

Hence, we encourage clients who subscribe to the ETFs RSP to adopt a long-term view and accumulate enough holdings before they sell their units since the dollar-cost averaging benefits of an RSP will not be reaped over a short investment horizon.

We do not allow the transfer of fractional shares.

The cash dividends received from your ETFs RSP units will be credited into the respective currency cash accounts by default.
