What is the difference between a Dormant CDS Account and an Inactive CDS Account?
Dormant Account Inactive Account

The CDS account will be classified as dormant if there has been no transaction activity on the Bursa Malaysia exchange for more than 36 months.

For a dormant CDS account, there are no Stocks or ETFs held in the account.

 

An Inactive CDS account is one that has no transaction activity on the Bursa Malaysia for more than 36 months but still holds Stocks or ETFs investment in the holdings.
