A negative balance may occur in exceptional cases, such as when a transaction is posted after your available balance has been used and Auto Transfer is turned off.
For example:
You make a purchase of RM100, but the payment is only completed by the merchant later. In the meantime, the RM100 authorise amount may be released back to your Card Account, and you may spend it. When the merchant later completes the payment, the RM100 will still be deducted. If your balance is insufficient and Auto Transfer is turned off, your Card Account may become negative.
If this happens, top up your Card Account to restore the outstanding amount as soon as possible. If you do not recognise or did not authorise the transaction, you may submit a dispute.
