The Global Income Portfolio invests in a diversified mix of investments which consists of unit trust funds and/or ETFs across bonds and equities in the global markets, with the portfolio actively managed by FSMOne's portfolio management team.

The Global Income Portfolio’s base currency is Malaysian Ringgit (MYR). However, the underlying investments may be in foreign currencies.

Your income depends on two factors:

• The amount you invest

• The income distribution from the underlying investments of the portfolio

A larger investment and/or a higher income distribution, produces a larger monthly payout. The rolling 12-month yield of the portfolio is always shown on the product page, and you may refer to 2.2 for the calculation.

It is not a target. 

The portfolio’s annualized yield is a rolling 12-month yield.

• The income paid over the trailing 12 months

• Measured against the portfolio's value at the end of each month

• Expressed as an annual percentage, updated monthly

Because it is a trailing figure, it changes each month. The latest payout yield is shown on the product page.

• The monthly figures up to and including 31 July 2026 are based on backtested data for illustration purposes only.

• From 1 August 2026 onward, the monthly figures reflect actual live portfolio data.

No. The rolling 12-month yield is not guaranteed. Past payouts are not indicative of future payouts, which may be higher or lower and are subject to income distributions received from the portfolio's underlying investments. A positive payout yield does not imply a positive total return. Investors may still experience a loss if the portfolio's market value declines by more than the total payout received.

No, the monthly payouts vary from month to month, subject to the income we receive from the underlying investments of the portfolio. The income will be accumulated on a monthly basis and paid out in the following month.

A payout amount is credited to your FSMOne Cash Account on the 1st of every month. The payout amount varies month to month and is not guaranteed. 

To be entitled to the underlying investments’ distribution, your money in the Global Income Portfolio must be invested before the underlying unit trust fund and/or ETF’s cut-off date (known as the ex-date). Each unit trust fund and ETF sets its own ex-date for deciding whether you are entitled to the distribution. 

The Global Income Portfolio aims to distribute all income received from its underlying investments on a monthly basis with a neutral asset allocation of 60% to fixed income and 40% to equities. This is a globally diversified portfolio balancing between equity and fixed income funds to achieve the objective of income distribution on a sustainable basis.

1. All types of collective investment schemes (both local and foreign).

2. Equities listed on Bursa Malaysia and foreign stock exchanges.

3. Malaysia Government Securities ("MGS"), treasury bills, Bank Negara Malaysia certificates and government investment certificates.

4. Deposit and money market instruments.

5. Any other form of investments as may be permitted by the relevant authorities from time to time.

The Global Income Portfolio is constructed with a neutral asset allocation of 60% in fixed income and 40% in equities. In view of different market conditions, we may from time to time, deviate up to +/-15% away from its neutral allocation.

The Global Income Portfolio is designed for monthly payout coming from the income distributions we receive from the portfolio's underlying investments. What is unique to the portfolio is that it emphasises on the income generation ability of its underlying investments which generate income from bonds, dividend equities, option income strategies etc.

No. The Global Income Portfolio is a non-Shariah compliant managed portfolio.

Your total return has two components:

• The monthly payouts paid to your cash account.

• The change in your current investment value: your portfolio's market value rises or falls with markets (capital appreciation or depreciation).

In short, total return = income paid + change in current investment value.

Notes: This is why a positive payout yield does not mean a positive total return. If your investment value falls by more than the income you received, you can still be at a loss for the period, even though you were paid every month. The product page shows the payout yield and the total return separately, so you can see both.

No. This is an investment portfolio where its value rises and falls with the markets. What it is designed to do is keep paying a monthly income through those ups and downs, though distributions are not guaranteed.

The monthly payout is designed to come from the income we receive from the underlying unit trust funds and/or ETFs. 

These underlying investments may distribute from any of the following sources, or a combination thereof: 

1. realised income, 
2. realised capital gains, 
3. unrealised income, 
4. unrealised capital gains, or 
5. capital

Your portfolio value can fall. However, the portfolio is designed to continue generating income, though distributions are not guaranteed.

There are two fees:

• Portfolio subscription fee: 0.5% when you invest

• Portfolio management fee: 0.125% per quarter (0.5% a year), accrued daily and deducted quarterly

The underlying unit trust funds and ETFs carry their own built-in fees, as any funds and ETFs do.
