Claim Notification
- Claimant should inform FSMOne as soon as possible if claim events arise.
- FSMOne assists to submit Claim Notification to the insurer within stipulated time.
- FSMOne will advise the claimant for the forms and documents needed based on the claim type.
Claim Submission
- Claimant gathers and submits the required documents to FSMOne (recommended) or directly to the insurance company.
- FSMOne checks and ensure completeness of claim form and documents.
- FSMOne submits the required document to the insurance company for claim.
Claim Enquiry & Follow Up
- FSMOne will follow up with the insurer to enquire claim status or progress.
- FSMOne updates claimant from time to time.
- If there are additional documents required, FSMOne will follow up with claimant in order to submit these documents to the claims department.
Claim Result
- Claimant receives claim payment if claim is successful and payable.
- Receive decline letter if the claim is declined.
Appeal
- If claimant is dissatisfied with the claim decision, FSMOne will assist to submit appeal letter stating the reason for appeal or dissatisfaction.
- If claimant is not satisfied with the final outcome, he/she may seek assistant from OFS (Ombudsman for Financial Services).
